Rob Steeley retirement

So long, so farewell – Rob Steeley retires after 30 years as our technical wizard

31st July 2018

On Tuesday 31st July we bade a final farewell to Ferroli UK’s longest serving employee Chief Technical Officer Rob Steeley as he finally put down his tools after 30 years of dedicated service to the company.

All Rob’s many friends and colleagues gathered to mark this momentous occasion and send him on his way with our heartfelt thanks for the significant contribution he has made to Ferroli UK over the past three decades.

Rob joined Ferroli in February 1989 as Assistant Service Manager when Ferroli was still based in Minworth and operated as a joint venture with Brassware Sales . It was Rob’s uncle Mike Reade who, as Brassware Sales’ technical manager, suggested that Rob switch from his career as a quantity surveyor and join him in the boiler industry. Since then Rob has scrutinised and analysed every nut, bolt, valve and pipe of Ferroli’s boilers and has played a key part in the development of the technologically advanced boilers that Ferroli produces today.

Pictured here with Rob are John Lawton, Technical & Service Manager and Andy Dimond, Commercial Director, plus some of our team of technical engineers.

Rob - we thank you and we will miss you.
