Introducing the new improved Bluehelix HiTech RRT next generation domestic combi boilers from Ferroli’s award-winning family of Bluehelix domestic boilers.

The new improved Bluehelix HiTech RRT combi boiler is an upgrade on the existing Bluehelix RRT and is available in 24kW, 28kW and 34kW outputs and offers impressive technical features that make this boiler one of the most innovative and intelligent models on the market, but at an affordable price.

Features and Benefits 

A key new feature of the Bluehelix HiTech is that as well as being ready for the switch over to more “green gasses” it has a patented stainless steel Thermobalance heat exchanger which is shaped to ensure increased water flow and improve efficiency, even where water flow is obstructed. 

This feature makes the boiler perfect for replacement installations that are more prone to producing sediment in the exchanger. Others include an updated electric control system enabling a touch pad display, easy to use and navigate display panel, updated gas valve to allow for improved calibration, easy access to the external wiring connections without having to lower the front panel. It’s exceptionally quiet and comes with a 7-year warranty as standard and is cleverly designed for easy maintenance. 

The ThermobalanceTM heat exchanger guarantees very high efficiency and a longer life. The Bluehelix HiTech RRT can operate on natural gas and LPG without the need for conversion kits, its Hydrogen ready and delivers class 6 NOx emissions.

The meticulous design of the boiler means its exceptionally quiet, making it almost impossible to distinguish the noise of the boiler from the background noise of a home. It is possibly, the quietest boiler currently on the market.

CapSense’ touch screen technology 

The smart new user interface with ‘CapSense’ touch screen technology and large 2.8” graphic display allows for easy navigation and simple boiler control. Customers will find the new updated electric control system enabling a touch pad display large multi-function graphic display simple and straightforward to operate.

User friendly for both Installers and Customers  

Ferroli boilers are always designed to be user-friendly, both for engineers and customers. Installers will find the Bluehelix HiTech RRT very easy to install and maintain thanks to its three-piece casing with removable side panels for easy access to the interior and if the boiler is required to run on LPG, the fact that no conversion kit is needed will save valuable time and money. Its compact size – just 250mm deep for the 24kw and 28kW models – widens the options for finding a suitable location for installation.

As well as high performance, energy efficiency is a priority for the design of Ferroli’s boilers. The Bluehelix Hi-Tech is class 6 for NOx emissions, achieves 94% season heating efficiency and the new intelligent gas adaptive combustion system constantly monitors and optimises combustion levels as the gas and flue conditions change.

Future proofed - Hydrogen Ready 

Nearly all gas appliances that are in use today, including our new boilers, can run on a mixture of hydrogen and natural gas. This is called a ‘blend’ and sees a percentage of the fuel source powering the appliance being hydrogen gas, with the remaining being natural gas. This means, that when the government begins to increase the amount of ‘green gases’ into the UK gas grid, your customers can be confident their new gas boiler will run for its lifetime without any need to switch to a new system, such as electric boiler or an air source heat pump.
