It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy Kleister, Managing Director of Ferroli UK, on Friday 30th May. Roy passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his wife, children, and grandchildren.

 

Roy officially joined Ferroli in December 2022 and took up his position as Managing Director. With over 30 years of experience in the heating and electrical appliance industry — previously as Director of OEM Partners at Glen Dimplex Heating & Ventilation — Roy brought to Ferroli a wealth of expertise, energy, and vision.

Known for leading forward-thinking, high-performing sales divisions, Roy’s enthusiasm and dedication to his work were evident from day one, and he quickly became a highly respected and much-loved leader at Ferroli UK.

As Riccardo Garrè, CEO of Ferroli, noted during an interview with La Repubblica – Affari & Finanza in late 2022:

“Our aim is to start again with an exciting new path to enhance Ferroli, working towards a complete transformation of the Ferroli Group into a reality purely oriented towards electrified and sustainable products. The focus of the management team is on the ability to anticipate the market and on their speed in anticipating the strategy…”

Roy fully embraced this vision. His leadership was instrumental in helping to guide Ferroli UK along this forward-looking path. His passion for innovation and commitment to sustainability were aligned with the Group’s ambitions, and he played a key role in our ongoing transformation.

We are deeply saddened by his untimely loss. Roy’s strength, resilience, and unwavering positivity throughout his illness were truly inspirational. He will be profoundly missed by his colleagues across the UK and the wider Ferroli Group.

The UK team is currently being supported by colleagues in Italy and remains committed to honouring Roy’s legacy and continuing the important work he began.
