The Presto is a perfect example of our innovation in electric water heating. Its real innovation is that it saves electricity by filling in stages.The advances made in the filling and heating stages of the Presto account for its improved effectiveness. This gives the unit the advantage of always operating at maximum efficiency, having a constant supply of boiling water in the tank no matter what the water level is, so if the unit was completely drained it could be used immediately once a filling stage is complete.
